Your First Visit

We always want our patients to feel informed and confident they are getting the best treatment possible. During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, take any necessary x-rays, and complete a thorough examination. We will take the time to discuss treatment options and answer any questions you may have.

What to Bring to Your First Appointment

• Completed patient forms (or arrive 15 minutes early to complete them)
• Your dental insurance card and information
• A list of current medications you are taking
• Any x-rays or records from your referring dentist
• A form of payment for any out-of-pocket expenses

What to Expect

Your first visit will typically last about an hour. During this time, we will:

• Review your medical and dental history
• Take digital x-rays and/or a cone beam CT scan if needed
• Perform a comprehensive periodontal examination
• Discuss your diagnosis and treatment options
• Answer any questions you may have
• Provide you with a treatment plan and cost estimate

Insurance and Payment

We accept most dental insurance plans. Our staff will be happy to help you understand your benefits and file claims on your behalf. For patients without insurance or for services not covered by insurance, we offer flexible payment options including CareCredit financing.
